Blogging when I can

I know, I know... I've not been very good at keeping up with this. Oh well. Life goes on and this is something I do when I think I might have something to share or that I want to remember. ;)

The actual main purpose of this blog today is to see if I can figure out how to place a "pin-it" button on here for Pinterest. I LOVE Pinterest! It's the perfect way to book mark those items I would love to have time to make or do or eat at some point in time. I can go there and see a picture of it and remember WHY I bookmarked it. Unlike using words and website titles in my regular browser.

Here is a picture of a blanket I'm currently working on. Let's see if I can "pin" a button for it so if you wanted you could "Pin it" to your Pinterest board.
Now to see if this actually works properly. Should you try it, please let me know how well it works or if it does or does not work at all. I appreciate the feed back!

How do you like my glowing hook under there? It's a size H hook I bought here. I love it! It's great for working with very dark colors or working in a not so well lit area of a room.

By the way, this is the start of a baby blanket for a little boy. Making it for no one in particular at the moment but someone is always pregnant so I'm sure it won't be long before I have a recipient.

I call this a Granny Ripple. I have someone testing my instructions to tell me if I've written them in such a way as to be easily understood and followed, as well as to see if I wrote them correctly for someone else to get the same result I did.  We will see how that goes.

Ok - enough for now. Hopefully I'll be back soon. :D

Long Time, No Blog!

Well, it's been quite a while since I checked in over here. Sorry about that! I guess there has been a lot going on and time just keeps passing on by. Since the last time ...

Sarah turned 22, Savannah turned 20, Skylar turned 14. Sandi will be 16 soon. Wow! Not discussing right now how old Terry and I are. ;)

The curriculum I present webinars for several times a week is getting a facelift of sorts right now. They are adding some of the features we've been clamoring for. I'm excited to see it next week when I get to travel to Cincinnati for one of the conventions. This time of year attendance picks up in the webinars because everyone is starting to work on what they wish to use next year. Also because AOP offers 20% off during April.

Other than webinars and conventions, running the home school group takes a little time. We are in the process of moving to a new website with hosting designed specifically for home school support groups. Thankfully I have some help getting things transferred and checking the links we keep posted in our resource pages. We want to be sure they are all working properly and organize them a bit better.

I keep trying to get some crochet work done as well. I learned a couple of new stitches that I enjoy and so I've started 2 new blankets for Sandi and Skylar. Sarah has also requested one of the patterns for herself. Then there always seems to be someone having a baby here and there. I've made several blankets and bootie sets too. I finished a pair of camouflage and brown cowboy boots today. So CUTE! I need to mail those this weekend.
Now I'll attempt a hat. I'll let you know later how THAT turns out. ;)
